AI Use Policy

Effective date: December 24, 2025

This page explains how AI tools may be used in my content and internal workflow. It is written to protect your trust, your privacy, and the integrity of what I publish.

  1. Purpose and principle

AI tools may be used to support drafting, editing, and production tasks. AI does not replace professional judgment. I remain responsible for what I publish, send, or present.

  1. Tools we may use

Depending on the task, we may use one or more of the following tools:

ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek, Perplexity

Grammarly

Adobe Podcast

Canva

Hostinger Website Builder

This list may change over time.

  1. What AI may be used for

AI may be used for:

Draft outlines, summaries, and first-pass drafts for articles, captions, scripts, and FAQs

Language improvement, proofreading, and clarity edits

Translation and rephrasing, with human review

Turning my notes into structured content

Creating non-photorealistic graphics or simple visual aids for education, such as icons, diagrams, and layout drafts

Audio cleanup for recordings, such as noise reduction and leveling (example: Adobe Podcast)

  1. What AI is not used for

AI is not used for:

Inventing facts, events, statistics, case studies, quotes, or sources

Creating fake testimonials, endorsements, or performance claims

Impersonating any person, cloning a voice, or recreating a face without explicit consent and clear disclosure

Manipulating photos or videos to mislead viewers about what happened in real life

Producing client-specific recommendations without my review and suitability checks

Bypassing legal, regulatory, or platform rules on advertising and financial promotions

  1. Verification and quality control

When content contains facts, data, or claims, I review them before publishing. For public-interest facts, I aim to use primary or authoritative sources where available, such as:

Official Philippine government sources and issuances (for example, BIR, BSP, SEC, Insurance Commission, PSA, NPC)

Official releases from regulated institutions and reputable publishers

Original documents when they can be accessed and verified

If a topic is time-sensitive or likely to change, I verify it closer to publication.

  1. Transparency and disclosure

If AI materially affects a published output, I disclose it in a reasonable way, such as:

A short note within the article, caption, or credits

A caption note for AI-assisted visuals

A note when an audio recording has been enhanced for clarity

Not every spelling or grammar assist will be disclosed, but anything that could change how you interpret the content should be disclosed.

  1. Privacy and confidentiality

I follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and related guidance.

Practical rules I follow:

I do not upload client personal information, account numbers, policy details, statements, IDs, or confidential documents to public AI tools.

If I need help thinking through a client situation, I remove identifiers and sensitive details, or I avoid AI entirely.

I do not ask AI tools to store, remember, or profile clients.

If you choose to message me or submit a form on my website, the handling of that personal data is governed by my Privacy Policy.

  1. Third-party processing and cross-border considerations

Many AI providers operate cloud systems and may process data outside the Philippines. Because of that, I keep inputs to these tools free of client confidential data and personal identifiers, unless there is a clear, approved, and necessary reason and appropriate safeguards are in place.

  1. Intellectual property and attribution

I respect copyright and intellectual property rights.

I do not use AI to copy or closely imitate protected works, or to present someone else’s work as mine.

If I use third-party materials, I aim to secure permission when needed and provide proper attribution.

If you believe something on my site infringes your rights, you can contact me and I will review and address it promptly.

  1. Corrections

If an error is identified in content that I published, whether AI-assisted or not, I will correct it and, when appropriate, note the correction.

This policy may be updated as tools, risks, and standards change. The effective date at the top will be updated whenever material changes are made.
