Correction Policy
Clear guidelines to ensure accuracy and maintain trust throughout our service.
I take accuracy seriously. If something I publish is wrong, I want to fix it quickly and clearly. This policy exists to protect reader trust and to keep my work fair, consistent, and reliable over time.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to pages and materials published on this website, including articles, guides, visuals, and downloadable resources.
2. How to request a correction
You can request a correction through my contact form or by email.
Please include:
The page link (URL)
The exact sentence or section you believe is incorrect
What you believe the correct information should be
A supporting source, screenshot, or reference, if available
If you share complete details, it is faster for me to verify and act.
3. What I do after receiving your request
I review the claim and check the source behind the statement. If the issue is time-sensitive or could affect decisions, I prioritize it.
4. How long it usually takes
Most correction requests are reviewed within five business days.
Some requests take longer when:
The original source is not publicly accessible
The claim depends on a document that needs verification
A rule, process, or official guidance is unclear and requires confirmation
5. What gets corrected
A. Minor edits
Spelling, grammar, formatting, and small clarity improvements may be made without a correction note.
B. Factual corrections
If a factual statement is wrong, I correct it and add a short correction note on the page with the date and what changed.
C. Updates
Sometimes content becomes outdated because rules, rates, procedures, or official guidance change. In those cases, I may add an update note to reflect the new information. That is different from a correction, but it will still be dated.
D. Major issues
If an error significantly affects the meaning of the content, I will place a correction note in a more visible spot on the page.
6. When a request may be declined
Not all requests result in a correction.
A request may be declined if:
It is asking to change an opinion, interpretation, or writing style rather than a verifiable fact
It is promotional, self-serving, or intended to influence rankings, recommendations, or conclusions
It does not provide enough detail to verify the claim
Even if a request is declined, I may still improve wording for clarity if it helps readers understand the topic better.
7. Corrections on social media
If the incorrect information also appears on a social post that points to the article, I will correct the article first. When appropriate, I will add a clarification on the original post.
8. No fee
Submitting a correction request is free of charge.
9. Contact
